Hire Resolve’s Client is looking for an experienced, commercially driven Store Manager to take full ownership of a premium furniture showroom in Somerset West.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proven retail leader who combines strong sales ability with exceptional people management and knows how to turn a showroom into a high-performing sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
– Lead and manage all store operations to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
– Drive sales performance by developing and implementing strategic sales initiatives.
– Maintain high standards of visual merchandising and stock presentation.
– Recruit, train, and develop team members, promoting a culture of inclusivity and collaboration.
– Monitor inventory levels and manage stock control to minimize losses and maximize revenue.
– Create and manage store budgets, ensuring expenditures align with financial targets.
– Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
– Foster a positive and motivating environment for team members through effective leadership and communication.
Requirements
– Proven experience in retail management or a similar leadership role.
– Strong understanding of retail operations, including inventory management and merchandising.
– Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships with customers and staff.
– Demonstrable experience in achieving sales targets and motivating teams.
– Strong analytical skills to assess business performance and identify improvement opportunities.
– Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and retail management software.
