Professional Construction Project Manager
A reputable & well known Multi-disciplinary Consulting Company is looking for a Professional Construction Project Manager to join their team in Cape Town.
Key requirements:
- BSc. Construction Studies/BSc. Construction Management/BSc. Quantity Surveying/or equivalent
- BSc. Honours in Construction Management or similar is an advantage
- Registration as a Pr.CPM or PMP is an advantage
- 3+ year’s construction project management experience in consulting
- Knowledge of typical construction contracts (JBCC, FIDIC, NEC, GCC)
- PM Bok, MS Projects and MS Office literacy
Key responsibilities:
- Manage projects in line with international best practice
- Plan projects in terms of scope, schedule and costs
- Assist in preparation of fee proposals and bids
- Administering building contracts (JBCC, etc.)
- Manage the execution of projects within agreed scope, cost and schedule constraints
- Implement project quality system
- Manage project resources
- Lead and coordinate professional teams
- Lead and supervise construction contracts
- Manage project communication, including client, user and stakeholders
- Manage project procurement
- Conduct technical and contract meeting
