Planner Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client, a well-established company, is looking to hire a Planner for their company based in the Western Cape.
As a Planner, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining detailed project schedules, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring that projects are completed within the allocated time frame.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain merchandise financial plans and forecasts
• Analyze sales trends, historical data, and market insights to make informed inventory decisions
• Plan and allocate merchandise assortments to stores or distribution centers based on sales projections and inventory levels
• Collaborate with buying teams to develop seasonal product strategies and assortment plans
• Monitor inventory levels and make adjustments to purchase orders to optimize stock levels
• Review and analyze sales performance, markdowns, and inventory turnover to identify opportunities for improvement
• Work with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of merchandise and resolve any supply chain issues
• Implement pricing strategies and promotions to drive sales and maximize profitability

Requirements:

• Qualification in Retail, Business or Supply chain

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Planner in the retail industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft suit
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
