Job Description:
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a talented and motivated Planner to join their team in Cape Town. The Planner will be responsible for researching, analyzing, and developing planning proposals, policies, and projects to support the continued growth and development of the city. The Planner will work closely with internal teams, government officials, and community stakeholders to ensure that planning initiatives are aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
Responsibilities:
– Conduct research and analyze data to support planning initiatives
– Develop planning proposals, policies, and projects
– Collaborate with internal teams, government officials, and community stakeholders
– Manage and coordinate planning projects from inception to completion
– Present findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
– Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in urban planning
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Environmental Studies, or related field
– Previous experience working in urban planning or related field
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and presentation skills
– Proficient in GIS, AutoCAD, and other planning software
– Knowledge of local planning regulations and policies in Cape Town
