Pr Civil Engineer Full Time

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Civil Engineer to join our client’s team in Pretoria. As a Pr Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing civil engineering projects, ensuring their successful completion within the designated time frames and budgets. You will work closely with a team of engineers and technicians to ensure the highest quality of work.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise civil engineering projects from concept to completion
• Prepare design specifications and construction plans
• Stormwater management
• Sewerage and wastewater management
• Perform engineering calculations and analysis
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including architects, contractors, and other consultants
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians
• Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
• Prepare progress reports and documentation
• Manage project budgets and schedules

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng)
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in civil engineering
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design standards, and construction practices
• Experience working on Townhouses.
• Proficient in relevant design software and technical tools
• Excellent project management and leadership skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
