Resident Engineer – Geotechnical Engineering industry Full Time

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer specializing in the Geotechnical Engineering industry to join our reputable client.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the implementation of geotechnical engineering projects
• Conduct geotechnical investigations and studies
• Design and review geotechnical structures and foundations
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Monitor and control project budgets and schedules
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors
• Prepare reports and presentations on project progress and findings
• Provide mentorship and training to junior engineers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in geotechnical engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) or eligible for registration
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles and practices
• Familiarity with relevant software and design codes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Requirements

• B.Sc Eng / B.Eng / B.Tech Eng qualification in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering
• Must be Pr.Eng / Pr.Tech Eng registered
• Minimum 20 years’ relevant geotechnical experience on major road projects.
• SANRAL roads experience
