Resident Engineer – Geotechnical Full Time

Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Resident Engineer – Geotechnical to join a reputable construction company. As the Resident Engineer, you will oversee geotechnical engineering aspects of various construction projects while ensuring compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage geotechnical engineering aspects on construction sites, including site inspections and evaluations.
• Review and approve geotechnical reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.
• Ensure field data is collected and analyzed accurately for geotechnical stability and integrity.
• Provide guidance and support to junior engineering staff and evaluate their work.
• Implement and monitor safety protocols, ensuring adherence throughout construction phases.
• Prepare and present technical reports and documentation to project stakeholders.

Requirements

• BSc Eng / BEng / BTech Eng qualification in Civil / Geotechnical Engineering.
• Must be Pr.Eng / Pr.Tech Eng registered.
• Minimum 15 – 20yrs relevant geotechnical experience on major road projects.
