Electrical Engineer Full Time

A leading Engineering Firm based in Cape Town is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join their team!​

Daily, you’ll carry out various engineering tasks, such as performing calculations to ensure our systems meet safety standards and collaborating with technicians and computer programmers to solve emerging issues. You’ll also research manufacturing processes and analyze data and trends to create new products. 

Responsibilities:

• Medium voltage substation design
• MV distribution design
• LV distribution & reticulation
• LV Panel and distribution design
• Generator system design
• UPS System design
• Light Design
• Power and socket outlet design
• Supervision of project installation and contractors
• Tender documentation
• Project Finance
• Project administration
• Transfer of technical skills

Key requirements:

• Pr. Eng / Pr. Tech Eng
• BSc/BEng/BTech in Electrical Engineering
• 3 Years of Consulting Experience
• Report Written Skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word & Excel
• Computer Skills.
• Auto Cad & 3D Skills
• Arithmetical experience etc.
• Electrical technical skills
• Report writing
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in English
• Arithmetical experience
• Technical design, engineering and coordination of all electrical building services experience
