Procurement Manager – Solar Industry Full Time

A leading company in the renewable energy sector is looking for a skilled and experienced Procurement Manager with experience in solar procurement to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic professional ready to make a tangible impact in the solar/PV industry across both commercial and residential markets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to support solar/PV projects.

• Manage the full procurement cycle, including sourcing, negotiating, contracting, and supplier relationship management.

• Evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and project specifications.

• Monitor market trends to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.

• Work closely with engineering, project management, and finance teams to align procurement with project goals.

• Maintain accurate procurement records and reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Procurement experience in the solar industry is a must.

• Minimum of a BCom degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, or a related field.

• Proven experience in the solar/PV industry, with exposure to both commercial and residential projects.

• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

• Excellent knowledge of procurement best practices and supplier evaluation techniques.

• Familiarity with renewable energy components and supply chain requirements.

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
