This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring smooth customs clearance processes and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage the clearing process for imports and exports
Ensure accurate and timely submission of customs documentation
Liaise with customs officials, shipping lines, and transport providers
Stay up to date with relevant customs regulations and industry developments
Monitor and report on clearing delays and proactively resolve issues
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience in clearing and forwarding
Strong understanding of SARS EDI system and customs procedures
Excellent organizational and communication skills
