Hire Resolve’s Client is looking for a skilled and hands-on Steel Fabrication Supervisor to join their team in Pretoria! If you have a strong background in steel fabrication, understand welding and metal forming processes, and have the leadership skills to drive production excellence, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Our client specialises in the design and manufacture of steel concrete formwork for civil, commercial and infrastructure projects. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in overseeing fabrication operations, leading a team and ensuring that every product meets the highest quality standards.
Lead and supervise the steel fabrication team, ensuring daily production targets are achieved.
Coordinate labour and resources to maximise productivity and keep operations running efficiently.
Oversee fabrication activities, including metal forming, manufacturing and welding processes.
Interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication and adherence to specifications.
Maintain quality standards by monitoring finished products and ensuring all work meets required requirements.
Drive efficiency and performance across day-to-day production activities.
Support and motivate your team, fostering a positive, productive and collaborative working environment.
Ensure work is completed efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship and reliability.
Matric is essential.
A minimum of 3–5 years’ relevant experience in steel fabrication, metal forming or manufacturing.
A strong understanding of welding processes and steel fabrication techniques.
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
Previous experience supervising fabrication teams and allocating labour effectively.
A solid understanding of production processes, productivity and quality control.
Excellent leadership, communication and people management skills.
A hands-on, practical approach with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Reliability, teamwork and the ability to manage day-to-day fabrication operations.
A relevant supporting qualification will be advantageous.
