Summary:
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Credit Controller to join our client’s finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in credit control and collections, with proven experience in managing a team and driving results. The Senior Credit Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the credit control function, including credit assessment, collections, and relationship management with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the application of effective control procedures throughout the credit department,
• Promote good relations with external as well as internal customers,
• Ensure a positive cash inflow via collections of debtor accounts,
• Ensure effective follow up procedures on all defaults and/or credit limit breaches,
• Eliminate unauthorized credit through the necessary controls and discipline,
• Minimize bad debts,
• Provide Management with timeous, accurate and relevant information for decision making purposes, and
• Improve business relations with internal and external customers by means of an effective administration
  process

Requirements:

• Experience in credit control (minimum of 10 years)
• Experience in credit management (3–5 years)
• General accounting exposure and understanding
• Cash allocation/reconciliation experience
• High level of computer literacy – MS Office, Outlook, Excel & Word
