Buyer – Food and Beverage Industry Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client in the food and beverage industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Buyer to join their team in the Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase food and beverage products for clients in the industry
• Negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers
• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay updated on industry trends
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues that arise
• Work closely with internal departments to ensure on-time and accurate delivery of products
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to optimize purchasing decisions
• Analyze supplier performance and make recommendations for improvements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Proven experience as a Buyer in the Food and Beverage Industry
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage products and market trends
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Must be situated in the Western Cape
