Resident Engineer Full Time

One of South Africa’s leading multi-disciplinary engineering consulting companies is looking for a Resident Engineer to join their team!

Key Requirements:

• BEng, BSc, BTech Civil Engineering
• Advanced Knowledge of AutoCAD & Civil 3D
• Pr Eng will be advantageous
• 10 Years of Experience in SANRAL roads projects
• Must be a South African Citizen
• Must reside in Western Cape
• Must be willing to travel within the Western Cape
• Must be able to start 1 April

Responsibilities:

• Liaising with Clients as well as preparing contractual documents in conjunction with the client
• Knowledge of contract administration and coordination
• Experience in construction monitoring and civil engineering works
• Ability to review contractor drawings and ensure conformity with design requirements
• Issue site instructions to the contractor on behalf of the client
• Submit payment certificates to contractors
