Quantity Surveyor Full Time

• Proficiently compile and submit tenders, showcasing competency across all related areas.

• Utilize excellent site monitoring abilities to oversee project progress and prepare monthly claims accurately.

• Manage day-to-day commercial operations with subcontractors, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

• Handle final accounts and their preparation meticulously.

• Possess a solid grasp of industry standards and commercial obligations.

• Exhibit confidence in implementing and monitoring new systems, while adeptly managing expenses and interpreting costs.

• Report directly to the Business Owner, being accountable for all daily Quantity Surveyor responsibilities.

• Demonstrate essential personal qualities such as dynamism, problem-solving skills, proactive nature, initiative, drive, methodical approach, and exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Requirements:

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related qualification
• Experience in the building industry of at least 5 years as the main contractor Quantity Surveyor
• Experience working on commercial projects
• Understanding and experience of JBCC contracts and relevant responsibilities under these contracts
• Skilled in problem solving and communication with relevant stakeholders
• Valid driver’s license
