Are you a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with a background in plumbing? Join a leading contractor specializing in wet services projects across South Africa.
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Quantity Surveyor to manage the financial and contractual aspects of multiple construction sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in the plumbing and wet services sector, with strong skills in cost control, take-offs, and client liaison.
Prepare and submit monthly progress claims based on completed work.
Compile and price variations and communicate them effectively to the client.
Conduct accurate take-offs from wet services engineers’ drawings.
Prepare and submit tenders based on Bills of Quantities or drawing-based take-offs.
Produce monthly cost reports for each active site.
Previous experience in a plumbing-focused construction environment is essential.
Solid knowledge of the JBCC contract is highly beneficial.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with CCS (Candy) software is advantageous.
Ability to perform digital take-offs using QS software is a plus.
