Professional Structural Engineer Full Time

Position: Professional Structural Engineer

Hire Resolves client is currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced Professional Structural Engineer to join their team in Tshwane, Gauteng. As a Professional Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, evaluating and analysing various structural components and systems to ensure their safety and integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Performing structural analysis and design calculations for various types of structures, including buildings, bridges, and other infrastructure projects
• Developing detailed plans and specifications for construction projects
• Conducting site inspections and evaluations to assess the condition of existing structures and recommend necessary repairs or upgrades
• Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure that designs meet project requirements and codes
• Providing technical expertise and guidance to junior staff members
• Ensuring that all designs comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (Pr.Eng) registration with ECSA
• Minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience in structural engineering
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAP2000, or similar
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of relevant construction codes and regulations
