Production Manager Full Time

Job Title: Production Manager

Hire Resolves client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join their team as a Production Manager in Killarney Gardens, Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the production process, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities
• Manage a team of production staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
• Ensure that production targets and quality standards are met
• Monitor and analyse production metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
• Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure that production goals align with company objectives
• Develop and implement production processes and procedures to maximise efficiency and minimise waste
• Maintain a safe and clean production environment in compliance with all regulations and company policies
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and maintenance

Requirements:

• National Diploma or Degree qualification in Production Management or similar, advantageous if supplemented by formalised operational training in terms of applied production techniques.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a food manufacturing environment – with a minimum of 2 years experience in a management role.
• Proven knowledge and experience with equipment, process flow, and line commissioning – aligned with requirements to maintain quality, throughput, and effectiveness.
