Pavement and Materials Specialist Full Time

Hire Resolve is currently seeking a Pavement and Materials Specialist for an engineering consulting company. As a Pavement and Materials Specialist, you will be joining a team of experts in the field of pavement design and materials selection.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in pavement engineering and materials science. You should have in-depth knowledge of pavement design principles, materials selection, and industry standards. Additionally, you should be familiar with the latest advancements in materials technology and have experience working on infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyse pavement structures for roads, highways, and other infrastructure projects.
• Conduct material testing and evaluation to determine suitability for specific applications.
• Develop and implement material specifications and construction standards.
• Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver successful project outcomes.
• Provide technical support and guidance on materials-related issues throughout the project lifecycle.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in pavement and materials engineering.

Requirements

• BSc Eng / BEng / BTech Eng qualification in Civil Engineering.
• Must be Pr.Eng / Pr.Tech Eng registered.
• Minimum 15 years relevant experience in Pavement Engineering Consultancy
• Strong knowledge of pavement materials, including asphalt, concrete, and soil stabilization techniques.
• Proficiency in pavement design software and other engineering tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
