A leading water treatment and sanitation solutions provider is seeking a skilled and experienced Millwright to join their dynamic team. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal operational efficiency, maintenance, and fault-finding of mechanical and electrical equipment within water treatment infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment, including pumps, valves, blowers, and piping systems
Troubleshoot, inspect, and perform preventative maintenance on electrical control panels, motors, and instrumentation
Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to minimize system downtime
Conduct precision alignment, rigging, and fitting of heavy machinery
Adhere strictly to industry health, safety, and environmental compliance standards
Requirements
Qualified Millwright (Trade Test / Red Seal required)
Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3–5 years of post-apprenticeship experience within water treatment, sanitation, or heavy utility process environments
Strong proficiency in fault-finding across both electrical systems and mechanical plant machinery
Valid driver’s license and flexibility to respond to standby duties or emergency repairs
