Maintenance Engineer Full Time NEW

A leading sawmill company situated in the Eastern Cape is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team.

The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:

• Process raw materials and reach production targets on an ongoing basis.
• This will be facilitated by implementing existing work practices.
• Checking that current procedures are being implemented correctly.
• In addition to this- by closely monitoring production processes.
• Expected to cost-effectively resolve issues that detract from reaching or exceeding production targets.
• Modifications to machinery or working methods.

Key requirements:

• Relevant Degree/Diploma in engineering or maintenance
• A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position
