Job Description:
Hire Resolve’s Mining Client are seeking a highly qualified Legal Advisor specializing in mining law to join our team in North West. The ideal candidate will have a strong legal background with experience in the mining industry. The Legal Advisor will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and support to our mining operations in compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on various mining projects and operations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements related to mining activities.
• Ensure compliance with all mining laws, regulations, and environmental policies.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings related to mining activities.
• Conduct research on legal issues affecting the mining industry.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risks.
• Stay up-to-date on changes in mining laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) with specialization in mining law.
• Admitted as an attorney in South Africa.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working in mining law.
• Strong understanding of South African mining laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong research and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks.
