Electrician Assistant (Maintenance) Full Time NEW

A leading industrial manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Electrician Assistant with strong experience in electrical maintenance, installations, and supporting qualified electricians to join their team in Brackenfell, Cape Town. The successful candidate will assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems while working in a safe industrial environment and gaining valuable hands-on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Assist electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
• Prepare tools, materials, and equipment required for electrical work.
• Assist with cable routing, conduit installation, and basic wiring tasks.
• Perform housekeeping and maintain clean and safe work areas.
• Support fault-finding and maintenance activities under supervision.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Complete assigned duties efficiently and professionally.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 / Matric.
• Electrical N2 qualification or higher is advantageous.
• Previous experience in an electrical, construction, manufacturing, or maintenance environment.
• Basic knowledge of electrical tools and equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Physically fit and willing to work in an industrial environment.
• Valid driver’s licence is advantageous.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
