Cost Accountant – Renewable Energy Full Time

Key responsibilities include:

• Collecting and analyzing financial data to determine costs of renewable energy projects
• Preparing budgets and cost reports for management
• Identifying areas for cost optimization and recommending strategies
• Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cost allocation
• Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations
• Contributing to the development and enhancement of financial models

The ideal candidate for this role has a strong background in cost accounting, experience within the renewable energy sector, and a thorough understanding of financial principles and regulations. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are also required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Professional designation such as PA or CIMA
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cost accounting
• Experience within the renewable energy sector is highly preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel
