Cost Accountant – Finance Services for Mining Industry – R720K – R600K Full Time

Hire Resolve has partnered with a leading Mining House based in North West who is looking for a Cost Accountant to join their team of dynamic professionals. Responsibilities 

• Financial processing & reporting
• Operation cost control & allocation
• Preparing operational cost budgets
• Cost reporting for operations
• Asset register control
• Operation purchasing & pricing control
• Month end processes
• Work close with operations management and staff
• Support to plant management and Financial Department
• Stock Management
• Implementation and control of spare inventory management system
• Manage inventory
• Ensure that Stock levels are adequate
• Manage, control and organise inventory counts
• Stock value control
• General Housekeeping of warehouses
• Supervision, coaching and mentoring of staff members

Requirements 

• Grade 12 / Matric with accounting as a subject
• Degree in Finance / Cost & Management Accounting
• Post graduate qualification may be advantageous
• 5 – 8 Years working experience in a similar field
• Experience in cost management
• Experience in spares inventory control
• Must be an action orientated person

Benefits 

• Salary: R600K/yr – R720K/yr, negotiable
