CLIENT ASSOCIATE – INVESTMENTS – JHB
Hire Resolve is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Client Associate to support the Business Development function at of our client’s boutique hedge fund asset management firm. This role involves creating investment materials, managing client communications, and contributing to the firm’s growth. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a passion for investments, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Investment Content Creation: Develop investment proposals, presentations, brochures, questionnaires, surveys and capability documents.
• Client Communication: Handle client queries professionally and provide clear, accurate information about our funds and investment strategies.
• Due Diligence Support: Assist with due diligence processes and prepare relevant materials for client meetings.
• Content Review: Oversee the creation and review of client-facing materials, ensuring they are accurate and high-quality.
• Report Management: Coordinate, review, and distribute monthly factsheets and quarterly reports to clients.
• Client Meetings: Occasionally attend client meetings, presenting relevant business content as needed.
• Project Management: Manage specific projects to enhance the efficiency of business development processes.
• ESG: Monthly and Quarterly reporting and analysis.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in investment-related roles or business development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A passion for investments and understanding of investment performance and strategies.

• Investment Knowledge: Understanding of the firm’s investment strategies and performance.
• Communication: Strong skills in creating and presenting investment content.
• Client Focus: Ability to manage client queries and maintain professional relationships.
• Report Management: Experience with coordinating and distributing client reports.

• Teamwork: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across different functions.
• Numerical Skills: Strong numerical and analytical skills to interpret investment data and performance metrics effectively.
