Warehouse Manager (cold chain) Full Time

A leading food company situated in Alberton, Gauteng is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Warehouse Manager (cold chain) to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Full leadership, management, and cost control of 3 shifts to deliver the business results
• Full stock control always ensuring stock integrity
• Correct operation ensuring maintenance are done and cover working of all MHE
• Correct loading and off-loading, of all vehicles
• Correct operation and Maintenance of Docks, and Freezer equipment
• Adherence to Safety standards and operating procedures
• Managing of all staff (leave, absenteeism etc.) and allocating of staff to complete workload
• Communication with internal and external clients
• Control of pallet movement
• Control of bulk crate movement
• Storage efficiencies
• Transfer efficiencies
• Stock movement recorded accurately

Requirements

• Relevant qualification at NQF 6 Level (Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Management)
• At least 5 years’ Cold Store Warehouse experience and distribution experience at managerial level
• Cold chain management experience in the FMCG sector is an added advantage
• Required to work shifts and weekends when needed
