Position: Structural Modeller / Draughtsperson

Hire Resolves client is seeking a talented Structural Modeller / Draughtsperson to join their team in Centurion, Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating accurate and detailed 3D models and drawings of structural designs for various construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D models of structural designs using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Tekla.
• Produce accurate and clear engineering drawings and documentation for construction projects.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to ensure that designs meet project specifications and requirements.
• Assist in the review and evaluation of structural designs to identify any potential issues or discrepancies.
• Support the project team in the coordination and communication of design information with stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in structural modelling software and techniques.
• Adhere to company standards and guidelines for structural modelling and drafting.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural modelling and drafting.
• Proficiency in software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Tekla.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in producing drawings.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively.
