Structural Engineer Full Time

As a Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and testing structures to ensure they are safe, reliable, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations. You will work closely with project managers, architects, and construction teams to ensure the successful completion of projects.

In this role, you will use computer-aided design (CAD) software and other engineering tools to create structural models and drawings. You will also perform calculations and simulations to evaluate the structural integrity and performance of various materials and components. Additionally, you will participate in site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and provide technical guidance as needed.

• Design and analyze structures, such as buildings, bridges, and tunnels
• Create detailed structural drawings and specifications using CAD software
• Perform calculations and simulations to assess structural stability and integrity
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes and regulations
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and construction teams
• Attend site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and provide technical guidance
• Prepare reports and documentation for project files

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) or working towards certification
• Proven experience as a Structural Engineer or similar role
• Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
• Strong knowledge of building codes and regulations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
