Structural Civil Engineer – Engineering Consulting Industry Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client in the engineering industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Structural Engineer in Cape Town.

Responsibilities:

• Design of steel structures and finite element analysis
• Completing structural analysis and design of complex structures fabricated from structural steel
• Conducting finite element modelling & analysis
• Structural steel and connection design
• Experience in Civils (Foundation, walls, retaining walls)
• Vibration design of structures; natural frequency and harmonic response analyses
• Design of land-based and marine mining structures for ships

Requirements:

• Structural Engineering degree (B.Eng/BSc. Eng/B.Tech)
• 5-7 years of industry experience
• Proficiency in FEA in Strand7
• Experience in structural steel and connection design
• Advantageous: Exceptional problem-solving skills, multi-disciplinary skills related to engineering, highly organised and self-motivated, VBA & API integration with Strand7
