Site Agent Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking a Site Agent in Pretoria. Are you a hands-on, experienced Site Agent ready to take the lead on large-scale construction projects? A well-established construction company is looking for skilled professionals to join their dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Budget Oversight:

  • Develop and implement detailed work plans, including scope, resource needs, timelines, and deliverables.

  • Track production progress and project spend against forecasts, making adjustments as needed to stay on budget and on schedule.

  • Prepare and submit consistent weekly and monthly project progress and cost reports.

  Day-to-Day Site Operations:

  • Ensure all activities align with project standards and identify opportunities to optimize site processes.

  • Supervise material usage, production output, and all required site documentation (e.g., daily production records).

  • Continuously evaluate site workflows to drive improvements in productivity and efficiency.

  Site Administration & Resource Coordination:

  • Maintain accurate records, including rework logs, risk assessments, and procedural documentation.

  • Manage procurement, inventory, and usage of materials, equipment, and labour on site.

  • Handle payment certificate submissions and ensure compliance with contractual and financial obligations.

  Health, Safety & Legal Compliance:

  • Enforce site safety protocols, including the use of PPE, safety documentation, and regular inspections.

  • Address safety incidents swiftly and ensure all practices meet regulatory and internal safety requirements.

  Quality Control & Assurance:

  • Ensure alignment between planned work, approved methods, and available resources.

  • Implement quality assurance measures, including regular checks and proper documentation distribution.

  Professional Conduct & Communication:

  • Represent the company’s values and maintain a professional image on-site.

  • Foster clear communication among teams, encourage feedback, and ensure visibility of management and leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Site Agent in the civil or building construction sector

• Relevant qualification in construction management or civil engineering (advantageous)

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to manage multiple site operations efficiently

• Willingness to travel and work on remote projects as required
