Service Manager Full Time

A leading textile and hygiene services company is looking for an experienced Service Manager with strong experience in operations, warehousing, distribution, logistics, and service delivery to join their team in Centurion. The successful candidate will oversee daily service operations, fleet and asset management, warehouse activities, staff supervision, and route planning while ensuring efficient service delivery and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all service operations within the branch.
• Oversee vehicle, fleet, and company asset management.
• Supervise branch logistics, routing, and delivery scheduling.
• Monitor loading, receiving, and movement of stock.
• Manage the full stock take process.
• Ensure driver licence compliance and fuel reporting.
• Plan and manage installations and withdrawals.
• Monitor and manage mobile hand-held service devices.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings and supervise operational teams.
• Manage people, equipment, and operational resources.
• Interpret and manage financial figures related to branch operations.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing and weekly vehicle inspections.
• Schedule and oversee ad hoc deliveries.
• Train, mentor, and develop staff reporting to the position.

Requirements:

• Grade 12.
• Degree or Diploma in Logistics Management or a related field.
• HR Management courses advantageous.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a service environment.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a distribution environment.
• Strong operations and warehousing experience is essential.
• Sound knowledge of logistics, fleet management, warehouse operations, and staff supervision.
• Good financial and planning skills.
