Job Title: Senior Financial Accountant (CA)

Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Job Type: Full-Time

A reputable firm based in Cape Town is seeking a qualified Senior Financial Accountant (CA) to join their team. The candidate needs to have 3+ years post-articles experience to join our finance team and will be responsible for financial reporting, cash flow management, tax compliance, and supporting strategic decision-making across our group of companies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Manage cash flow forecasting and variance analysis
• Oversee VAT, income tax, and other statutory submissions
• Liaise with external auditors and manage annual audits
• Support budgeting and forecasting processes
• Contribute to systems improvement and process optimisation
• Assist with project finance, funding drawdowns, and cost tracking

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified CA(SA) with 3+ years post-articles experience
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS, tax, and financial reporting
• Proven ability to manage deadlines and deliver in high-pressure environments
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, lookups, etc.)
• Experience in property, real estate, or project accounting a strong advantage
• Familiarity with Xero, Sage Evolution, or similar ERP systems preferred
