Senior Engineer: Wastewater and Water Treatment Full Time

Hire Resolves client who is a multi-award-winning Integrated Infrastructure Sector, is looking for a Senior Engineer: Wastewater and Water Treatment to join their team, the company provides the roots for communities using innovative and sustainable engineering design, urban planning, and advisory services. :

• BSc/BEng in Chemical, Civil, or Process Engineering.
• Master’s degree in Water, Environmental or Process Engineering will be an advantage.
• Professional Registration (PrEng) with ECSA required.
• 15–20 years’ relevant experience in water and wastewater treatment projects.
• Demonstrated expertise in both greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Hands-on experience in the design, specification, and commissioning of:
• Water Treatment Plants (conventional and advanced);
• Wastewater Treatment Plants (activated sludge, MBR, BNR, etc.).
• Proven experience in water reuse projects, including potable and non-potable reuse schemes.
• Familiarity with reuse-specific technologies and regulatory frameworks.
• Familiarity with national standards such as SANS, SABS, and regulatory requirements.
• Knowledge of contract administration (GCC, FIDIC).
• Proficiency in relevant software: AutoCAD, Civil Designer, Civil3D; process simulation tools a plus.
