Senior Civil Engineer (Pr Eng) Full Time

Are you a seasoned Civil Engineer with a passion for delivering impactful public infrastructure projects? Our client, a leading firm in the civil engineering sector, is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their dynamic team.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and manage key civil engineering projects with a strong focus on labour-based construction and municipal infrastructure.

Minimum Requirements:

• BSc in Civil Engineering (NQF Level 7)

• 15+ years’ experience in the design, site supervision, and contract documentation of various civil infrastructure projects

• Professional Registration (Pr.Eng or Pr.TechEng) with ECSA is essential

• 3+ years’ experience managing Expanded Public Works Programme (EPWP) or similar community-based projects

• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D

• Solid knowledge of municipal civil engineering infrastructure design (roads, stormwater, water, sanitation)

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead design teams on municipal infrastructure projects

• Oversee site supervision and ensure project compliance with applicable standards

• Prepare and review contract documentation

• Manage community-based, labour-intensive projects in line with EPWP guidelines

• Ensure technical quality, time, and budget adherence across project phases
