Senior Civil Draughtsman
A leading Engineering Consulting Firm based in Johannesburg is looking for a dynamic Senior Civil Draughtsman to join their team!
Key requirements:
- Relevant Degree/Certificate in Engineering
- 5-10 year’s experience in Civil works
- Experience in bulk earthworks
- Experience in waterworks
- Experience in structural works; concrete & steel structures and buildings
Key responsibilities:
- Design structures
- Create structural models by using computer-aided design software
- Follow construction safety guidelines
- Choose appropriate materials based on structural specifications
- Monitor on-site construction processes and supervise construction workers
- Prepare and allocate budgets
- Track and report on project progress
- Liaise with contractors and project managers
