Sales Support Specialist Full Time NEW

A leading renewable energy company is looking for an experienced Sales Support Specialist with strong experience in customer engagement, telemarketing, sales support, lead management, and CRM administration to join their team in Pretoria, Gauteng. The successful candidate will play a key role in engaging prospective and existing customers, securing appointments for site assessments, providing preliminary information and budgetary quotes, and supporting the sales team throughout the customer journey. This role is well suited to an enthusiastic, customer-focused individual with strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a proactive approach to sales support and administration.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct 200+ outbound calls per week to engage with qualified leads and prospective customers.
• Secure booking timeslots for site assessments by effectively communicating the value of the company’s offerings.
• Provide initial budgetary quotes and respond to preliminary technical questions.
• Identify and pursue upselling opportunities with existing clients to enhance customer value.
• Accurately capture and maintain all client interactions and lead information on the CRM system.
• Update lead statuses and manage sales pipelines effectively.
• Manage the diaries and schedules of multiple sales representatives.
• Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handover and positive customer journey.
• Perform accurate data capturing, reporting, and recordkeeping to maintain data integrity.
• Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism when engaging with clients.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Build strong working relationships with customers and internal team members.

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12 certificate.
• Fluent in both English and Afrikaans, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• A proactive mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Extroverted, enthusiastic, and well-spoken, with a passion for customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain accurate records.
• Previous experience with a CRM system would be advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of residential solar energy systems would be advantageous.
• Previous experience in data collection, telemarketing, sales support, or a similar customer-facing role would be advantageous.
• A valid driver’s licence would be advantageous.
