Sales Consulant Full Time

Hire Resolve’s Client is looking for confident, mature and results-driven Sales Consultants to join their premium furniture showroom in Somerset West.

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional who knows how to engage customers, build trust, close deals and consistently work towards ambitious sales targets.

With furniture products ranging from approximately R5,000 to R95,000, this role is ideal for someone who is comfortable selling high-value products and understands that exceptional customer service is just as important as achieving the sale.

Responsibilities: 

• Welcome and professionally engage with customers entering the showroom.
• Understand customer needs, preferences and budgets.
• Guide customers through the full sales journey, from initial enquiry to closing.
• Sell premium furniture products with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Build lasting relationships with customers and create an exceptional showroom experience.
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
• Follow up on quotations, enquiries and prospective customers.
• Present product features, benefits, pricing and options clearly.
• Upsell and cross-sell complementary products where appropriate.
• Maintain strong product knowledge across the furniture range.
• Accurately process customer and sales information.
• Work closely with showroom management and operations to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
• Maintain a professional and welcoming showroom environment.
• Contribute towards overall showroom targets and team success.

Requirement: 

• 3–5 years of proven sales experience, preferably within furniture, homeware, décor, luxury retail or a similar environment.
• A demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling high-value products is highly advantageous.
• Strong customer relationship-building and closing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Good working knowledge of Afrikaans would be advantageous.
• Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Good numerical and administrative skills.
• Computer literacy and the ability to work with sales systems.
• A professional, confident and mature approach.
• The ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
• Reliable transportation is advantageous.
