Are you an experienced Civil Engineering professional ready to take the next step in your career? Our client, a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy, is seeking a Resident Engineer to join their team on key infrastructure and urban development projects.
More than 5 years’ experience as a Resident Engineer on civil, urban, and road projects
Professional registration as Pr Eng / Pr Tech / Pr Techni is essential
Proven experience as the Engineer’s Representative on-site
Solid working knowledge of specifications and Bill of Quantities (COLTO/COTO, SANS 1200, and project-specific documentation)
In-depth understanding of Conditions of Contract (GCC 2015)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Strong experience in handling contractual matters and claim evaluations
Familiarity with modern project management techniques
Relevant experience with City of Cape Town projects will be advantageous
Ability to thrive both independently and within a collaborative team environment
Work with a reputable engineering consultancy on impactful civil infrastructure projects
