Key Responsibilities
Research, design, and develop innovative sauce formulations and FMCG food products aligned with market trends and consumer preferences.
Conduct continuous raw material evaluations, sensory testing, and shelf-life studies to ensure product quality and stability.
Optimize existing product recipes to enhance flavor profiles, reduce costs, and improve manufacturing efficiency.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including production, quality assurance, and marketing, to transition recipes seamlessly from pilot lab scale to full factory production.
Ensure all new formulations meet strict regulatory standards, food safety protocols, and client specifications.
Requirements
Relevant tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
Proven track record and hands-on experience in product formulation, specifically within sauces and liquid FMCG categories.
Strong background in the FMCG food manufacturing industry.
Solid understanding of food chemistry, preservation techniques, factory scale-up processes, and food safety regulations (HACCP/ISO).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
