Quality Officer Contract

Hire Resolve is partnering with a leading engineering consultancy on a high-impact energy storage project in South Africa. We’re looking for a Quality Officer to join a groundbreaking Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) initiative as it enters the construction phase.

This role offers the opportunity to be part of a national infrastructure development effort, working across three active project sites within close proximity to one another in the Northern Cape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct on-site quality inspections and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015

• Support and monitor the implementation of QMS across all project phases

• Maintain quality documentation and reporting systems

• Liaise with site teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure quality objectives are met

• Identify and assist in resolving non-conformances

Minimum Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering or a related technical field

• Minimum 5 years’ on-site experience in the construction industry

• Proven experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS)

• Solid working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standards

• Willingness to work across multiple construction sites

• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Background:

Experience in large-scale energy or infrastructure projects, such as:

• Power stations

• Solar farms or battery storage facilities

• Mining or water utility infrastructure
