Job Title: Purchasing Manager (Mining Industry)
Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, are seeking a talented and experienced Purchasing Manager to join our client’s team in Centurion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, goods, and services for the company at competitive prices and within budget constraints.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize costs and efficiency
– Source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships
– Review and approve purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
– Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels
– Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings
– Work closely with other departments, such as logistics, finance, and operations, to ensure smooth procurement processes
– Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in purchasing management
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field
– Proven experience as a Purchasing Manager or in a similar role
– Strong negotiating skills and ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and procurement software
