Project Planner Contract

Are you a skilled Project Planner looking to be part of a high-impact, future-forward infrastructure project in the energy sector? A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Project Planner for an 18-month fixed-term contract starting October 2025, based on-site across three nearby locations in South Africa.

This is your chance to play a key role in the Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) rollout – a major infrastructure initiative aligned with South Africa’s shift toward sustainable power solutions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Engineering-related degree or diploma

• 5+ years’ on-site experience in project planning/programming in the construction industry

• Proven experience in large-scale infrastructure environments such as:

  • Power stations (coal, gas, solar)

  • Battery or energy storage facilities

  • Mining or utility (water/electricity) operations

• Advanced MS Projects proficiency

• Experience with CCS Candy or Primavera P6

• Willingness to work on-site and rotate between three active project sites within close proximity
