Professional Quantity Surveyor Full Time

A leading professional services firm specializing in quantity surveying and cost management for major infrastructure and building projects, is currently seeking a highly experienced Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS) to join their Richards Bay team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dynamic individual with strong technical expertise and a track record in both civil engineering and building projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee quantity surveying duties for building and civil engineering projects from inception to completion

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, bills of quantities, and tender documentation using WINQS and DimX

• Conduct feasibility studies and risk analysis

• Monitor project costs and progress through MS Project and on-site inspections

• Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams to ensure effective cost control and delivery

• Provide professional advice and support on contractual matters

• Regular travel to multiple construction sites as part of project requirements

Requirements

• 10+ years of post-qualification experience in building and civil engineering projects

• Proven background within a well-known and reputable PQS firm

• Professional Registration as a PrQS with SACQSP

• BTech or BSc Degree in Quantity Surveying

• Proficiency in WINQS, DimX, and MS Project

• Willingness and ability to travel extensively to construction sites
