Production Manager Full Time

A leading packaging company situated in Gauteng is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Production Manager to join their team.

The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:

• Develop and implement production schedules to ensure that production targets are met. 
• Oversee the production process to ensure that it is running efficiently.
• Manage a team of production workers, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance. 
• Work with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure that production runs smoothly and that there are no delays or issues. 
• Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure that the end product meets the required standards. 
• Monitor inventory levels and work with procurement to ensure that there are no shortages of raw materials. 
• Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce waste. 
• Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed in the factory.

Key requirements:

• B Degree – Engineering (Mechanical)
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and machinery will be an advantage.
• Min of 4 Years’ experience
