We are assisting a seasoned industry leader to oversee their palm oil plantation operations. This is a full-time, live-in position based directly on the estate, offering full room and board along with one month of annual leave per year.
The successful candidate will take operational and strategic ownership of a current 5,000-hectare estate, driving its expansion project toward 25,000 hectares. You will lead a current workforce of 600 to 900 employees and contract laborers, scaling leadership to manage between 2,500 and 3,000 personnel as the expansion reaches full scale. Extensive hands-on background—having worked from the ground up through pre-planting, nursery, and large-scale estate management—is essential.

Direct and oversee all end-to-end plantation operations, agronomic strategies, and yield optimization projects from nursery management through harvesting.
Manage the current 5,000-hectare estate while spearheading the strategic development and planting of the 20,000-hectare expansion.
Lead, mentor, and scale direct and indirect operational teams, growing workforce capacity from up to 900 to nearly 3,000 workers and contractors.
Implement best agronomic practices to maximize Crude Palm Oil (CPO) quality, crop health, and plantation efficiency.
Drive operational budget management, resource allocation, and long-term land development strategy.

✅ Industry Experience: Minimum 15+ years in oil palm plantations, with at least 5 years serving as Estate Manager, Group Manager, or Head of Agronomy on an estate of 5,000+ hectares.
✅ Technical Expertise: Non-negotiable, deep hands-on expertise in Crude Palm Oil (CPO). Proven career trajectory built from the bottom up (nursery operations, pre-planting, land preparation, and full estate maintenance).
✅ Education: B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Agriculture, Agronomy, Plantation Crop Management, or equivalent. Specialist oil palm training/certification is a distinct advantage.
✅ Languages: Fluency in French is highly advantageous.
✅ Relocation: Must be willing to live on-site at the plantation full-time (with 1 month leave per year)
