A historic 974-hectare luxury wine farm is seeking a E-Commerce Sales Manager who will oversee and scale the digital sales operations for two premier Stellenbosch wine brands.
Responsibilities:
Lead and optimize online sales channels and direct-to-consumer store strategy for both Plaisir and Bartinney.
Plan, launch, and direct revenue-generating campaigns to meet and exceed annual growth targets (+R5m growth trajectory).
Analyze web traffic, sales conversion rates, customer retention, and customer lifetime value (LTV) to optimize funnels continuous improvement.
Manage and execute performance advertising campaigns across Meta (Facebook & Instagram), Google, TikTok, and Email Marketing.
Optimize ad spend, creative assets, audience targeting, and copy to drive measurable ROAS and online conversions.
Implement data-driven retention strategies through automated email sequences and segmented email marketing campaigns.
Attend and support estate events (1 to 2 times per week) across Plaisir (Simondium) and Bartinney (Banhoek Valley).
Manage weekend event coverage as required to foster direct customer relationships and drive on-site conversion to e-commerce channels.
Minimum Requirements:
Strong practical knowledge of multi-channel advertising platforms (Facebook Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, Instagram, and Email Marketing platforms).
Familiarity with direct-to-consumer e-commerce dynamics (wine/beverage industry experience is a bonus, but formal minimum years of experience are flexible for the right candidate).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable working weekends and flexible hours during events when needed.
Target-Driven: Highly motivated by sales targets and performance-based commission.
Analytical & Data-Led: Comfortable working with numbers, performance dashboards, and conversion metrics.
Self-Motivated: Capable of operating autonomously in a semi-remote workspace while maintaining high productivity.
Forward-Thinking: Eager to experiment with and adopt AI tools to enhance function performance.
