Hire Resolve’s client, a leading mining company, is currently seeking a skilled Planned Maintenance Officer to join their team based in North West.
Requirements:
– Senior Certificate (Grade 12)
– Management Maintenance Certificate
– Trade Test Certificate.
– Supervisory Certificate
– 5 years’ experience as a Planned Maintenance Officer within a underground mining environment
Duties and Responsibilities:
– Analyse tasks and take necessary action to mitigate identified risks.
– Conduct issue-based risk assessments and implement appropriate measures.
– Adhere to company policies, standards, and procedures.
– Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health and safety regulations.
– Initiate and follow emergency protocols when required.
– Identify and prevent fraudulent activities.
– Ensure equipment costs are accurately recorded against functional locations.
– Maintain SAP master data in line with financial policies and procedures.
– Monitor equipment performance against design specifications and budgeted operational costs.
– Facilitate failure analysis processes for cross-functional teams.
– Analyse maintenance history to identify recurring failure patterns.
– Implement preventive measures to support cost-effective maintenance programs.
– Provide structured recommendations to engineers.
