Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a PHP Developer to join their team in Johannesburg, GP. The ideal candidate should be proficient in PHP development, have a keen eye for detail, and be capable of delivering high-quality solutions.
Develop, test, and maintain web applications using PHP and related technologies.
Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code while following best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize existing applications for performance and scalability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and front-end developers, to implement new features and enhancements.
Ensure proper documentation of code and development processes.
Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to improve development efficiency.
Work closely with stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide technical solutions.
Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality.
Maintain database structures and optimize queries for better performance.
Ensure the security and integrity of applications by implementing best security practices.
1 to 2 years of hands-on experience with PHP development.
Strong understanding of PHP frameworks.
Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery).
Experience working with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.
Strong problem-solving skills and logical reasoning abilities.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
