Partner Team Manager – Senior Sales Manager Full Time

A leading software company is seeking a high-performing Partner Team Manager to lead and grow their Senior Account Executive team, with a focus on building and nurturing strategic partnerships within the software space—especially in the accounting, bookkeeping, and HR/payroll industries. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in B2B software sales and a proven track record managing partner teams or sales teams in a high-growth environment.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of Partner Account Executives to achieve revenue and growth targets.

• Develop and implement strategies to build and strengthen partnerships with accounting, payroll, and HR software providers (e.g., Pastel, SAGE, QuickBooks, Micros).

• Identify, recruit, and onboard new channel partners.

• Monitor partner performance and provide coaching, support, and tools to optimize success.

• Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to enhance partner and customer experiences.

• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and partner feedback to inform strategy.

• Prepare and present regular performance and pipeline reports to leadership.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in B2B software sales, with at least 2 years in a team lead, sales manager, or partner manager role.

• Demonstrated success in the accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or HR tech industry preferred.

• Deep understanding of the software ecosystem in South Africa (Pastel, SAGE, Micros, QuickBooks, etc.).

• Strong leadership and team development skills.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

• Results-oriented, strategic thinker with a hands-on approach.

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative, and remote-friendly environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field (advantageous but not essential).
