Mid-Level Graphic Designer Full Time

A premium South African “designer drinks” company that supplies the hospitality, restaurant, and coffee shop industries with high-quality beverage powders, fruit concentrates, cordials, and syrups, is seeking a dynamic Mid-Level Graphic Designer to bring their brands to life.

Responsibilities:

• Design & Production: Conceptualize, layout, and produce high-quality artwork from client briefs; prepare accurate, print-ready files for various output methods.

• Collaboration: Partner with the sales team to clarify artwork requirements, manage timelines, and create mockups for marketing presentations.

• Workflow Management: Meet daily and weekly production targets while managing multiple projects under pressure.

• Quality Control: Troubleshoot production-related artwork issues and ensure all designs meet strict brand and quality standards.

• Innovation: Stay updated on design trends, tools, and emerging creative technologies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Experience: Minimum 4 years of professional graphic design experience.

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design / Multimedia Design.

• Adobe Creative Suite: Strong proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

• Print Production: Solid understanding of print production and finishing (Screen, Litho, and Digital printing).

• AI & Modern Tech: Familiarity or curiosity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot, Ultra).

• CorelDRAW & MS 365: CorelDRAW experience is a strong advantage (particularly for print); comfortable using Microsoft 365.

• Proven experience designing for a mix of real-world branding projects, including:

  • Product labels, packaging, and machinery/vehicle wraps.

  • Banners, canvas, and signage.

  • Digital ads, promotional material, and social assets.

  • Marketing collateral (table talkers, posters, menus, and PowerPoint presentations).

• Advantage:
  • Experience or strong interest in AI-assisted design tools and workflow automation.

  • Basic animation, motion graphics, or video editing skills.

  • A passion for learning and experimenting with new creative technologies.
